Formulated with SkinSense’s innovative double encapsulation of pure retinol at an entry-level 0.3% concentration, this lightweight serum is a great introduction to those new to the powerful anti-ageing ingredient. Retinol (Vitamin A) works by stimulating the skin's natural cell renewal process, which in turn promotes a fresher, more youthful looking complexion. Uneven skin tone, pigmentation and other imperfections appear reduced over time thanks to a gentle, yet effective increase in cell turnover. A double encapsulation of retinol ensures not only a stable and sustained delivery into the skin, but also reduces risk of 'over-loading' the skin and risking irritation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

For those new to retinol, introduce this into your night time routine gradually 2-3 times a week. Build up use to every other night. For more robust skin types and those already using retinols, use nightly. Retinol is a powerful active ingredient which can make your skin a little more sun sensitive so it’s important to wear additional sun protection during the daytime. Due to its potency, there is a clinical smell to the serum which totally dissipates after a few seconds.

Smells 😣

The smell makes the product unusable for me should anyone want it I will give away

both me and my mother faced extreme dry skin after using only using this product for a few days, immediately after not using the product within 2 days the dryness was gone… do not recommend!! as well as this i have seen reviews of a smell been mentioned and i can
fully agree it smells like vomit or rotten feet!!!

Love it

I have only been using this serum for around ten days and my skin hasn’t looked better in years. I have reduced breakouts and texture, and my skin also looks more hydrated - dehydration lines are gone. I have tried one other retinol serum which helped with texture but made me breakout and have dry patches. The initial smell of this serum is a little off putting but it quickly fades. I cannot stress how much I love this product - I have tried countless serums all claiming to individually help with breakouts, texture and dry patches, and so far this miraculously seems to do it all.

Smells off, very bad!

The serum itself feels nice on the skin but as another person mentioned it has an overpowering smell like vomit but to me it’s like rotten feet. I don’t get why this isn’t mentioned by others unless the bottle I got is “off”. I’ve never come across a face product that smells so bad and puts me off using it so I won’t be repurchasing for this reason. Yuk!
