Do SkinSense products contain SPF?

No, our products do not contain SPF protection. We believe a broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection should be a dedicated step in your routine. Ultrasun is our recommended SPF brand.

Which do I apply first, SkinSense or Ultrasun SPF?

Thanks to Ultrasun and SkinSense formulas sharing the same Lamellar technology , you can choose in which order to apply them. The only exception is when using a SkinSense facial oil - for optimum results these should be used at night, and Ultrasun used as part of your morning routine.

Are SkinSense products cruelty free?

None of our products are tested on animals and we do not ship to countires which test on animals.

Are SkinSense products suitable for vegans?

All of our skincare and some of our supplemets are suitable for vegans. Our Collagen and Winter Defence Gummies are not suitable for vegans.

Where can I find a full list of product ingredients?

Please see indiviudual product pages for full ingredient lists. We're constantly upgrading and improving our formulas, so sometimes ingredient lists change. Do you send out free samples?

Although we don't have free samples, we do have 25ml travel sizes in many of our products, which is more cost effective way to try SkinSense products.

My product has a very clinical smell - is that normal?

We prioritise sensitive skin by minimising artificial fragrances, which are often used to mask the scent of active ingredients. As a result, our products may have a mild, clinical scent upon first use—this is due to the potency of the active ingredients and will dissipate shortly after application.

When should I apply a retinol?

Retinol products should always be used at night time. Retinol can make you skin more sun-sensitive, so always use a broad spectrum SPF when using a Retinol the previous night.
