SKINSENSE TOP TIP – most retinols can’t be applied near the eye area but this one can due to the lamellar technology that encapsulates the retinol, stabilises it and releases it slowly.

THE SCIENCE

A lightweight concentrate designed to smooth the skin in the delicate eye area, this targeted eye treatment is formulated with retinol - a form of vitamin A that can help improve the appearance of wrinkles, pores, and dark spots. Unlike similar products, this eye cream encapsulates retinol to eliminate the risk of irritation whilst still being effective. In addition to reducing sensitivity, this encapsulation forms an invisible film around the active ingredients to ensure stable, gradual release into the skin - prolonging the presence of retinol in the skin and therefore its efficacy. Lastly, the innovative triple-action roller ball applicator allows for added lymphatic drainage and when massaged into the skin.

HOW TO USE

For those new to retinol, introduce this into your nighttime routine gradually 2-3 times a week. Build up use to every other night. For more robust skin types and those already using retinol, use nightly. Use the triple-action roller ball applicator to gently massage product into the skin to aid lymphatic drainage. Retinol is a powerful active ingredient which can make your skin a little more sun sensitive so it's important to wear additional sun protection during the daytime.

Really good product

I have been using this product for several years and find it very good for my sensitive aging skin. Because of the ball applicator the cream glides on easily without any pulling around the eye area.

Keeping the lines away

This is my first retinoid eye product. I’ve used retinols and retinal serums on my face before but not my eyes. So far so good - no stinging/sensitivity. I love how quickly the product absorbs and how silky my skin feels afterwards.

Best Primer Ever

Yes I adore this primer. Makeup glides on to my skin when applied on top of this silk smooth primer. I think this is because this primer is made by SkinSense and not by a makeup manufacturer. It really does make a difference.

I ordered the starter kit, I’ve always used good quality skincare. I am formally a beauty therapist of some 35 years. The brand I was using started to get very expensive even though I love it I was looking for something a little more cost effective but still great for my skin. Heading towards 60 years it’s difficult to find products that you feel are making a difference. Well hello to vitamin serum and cerimide24 day and night cream. I just love it !! I also purchased the wrinkle defence rollerball and well that is just an amazing little product. I’m almost ready to re order and I have to say I’m spoilt for choice on what formulation to try next. I can’t recommend skin sense enough.
